Our
History

Nagpur-1919
Nagpur-1919-2

Shah Nanji Nagsi was established in 1919 as a wholesale grain trading house by the founder father Nagsi Hirji Shah.

Over the next few decades, the firm transformed from a local grain trader to a nationwide grain commission agent. Soon we started receiving cargo from all over the country which we sold on behalf of farmers, processors and traders. Our transparent ways of working helped us gain the trust of our suppliers and customers, leading to steady and significant growth of the firm.

Then, the Indian economy opened up in 1991, allowing us to expand our network beyond India. By following the same principles of transparency, we soon became one of the biggest grain exporters/importers in India.

To date, the company maintains its unwavering commitment to ethics and transparency.
